Con Artist Beats Criminal for White House

Over the past several months we have mentioned issues related to the possibility of Donald Trump winning the presidential election. While most of our concerns focused on the uncertainty he would introduce to investors, we found his economic plan to be quite problematic. Our sentiment was heightened on August 4, 2016 when he announced his economic advisers. ¹

Although we have been forecasting only a small chance of a recession for several years, the odds will increase considerably once Trump enters the White House. Aside from his many business failures, Donald Trump will soon become the first professional con man to serve as America’s president.²
