Learning How to Distinguish Between an Investment vs a Trading Opportunity

The ability to understand what you are dealing with is one of the most important considerations we face through life, regardless whether we are talking about everyday decisions as consumers or more complex decisions as investors.

The fact is that if you are not able to truly understand what you are dealing with your expectations will be off mark. At the end of the day, everything is about expectations.

In this video, I show you a perfect example of a very common mistake made by investors; their failure to identify a trading opportunity versus a legit investment opportunity.

During this presentation I will point to some of the most important considerations to think of when trying to determine whether or not you are dealing with a true investment opportunity versus a trading opportunity. This is a critical distinction to make because some investors are ill-equipped and/or have no interest in trading opportunities since many are speculative in nature.

The problem is that all too often, many investors fail to recognize whether something is a true investment opportunity versus a trading idea. Their failure to understand this often leads them to make the wrong decisions which lead to monetary loss, regret, confusion, frustration and a whole host of additional emotional responses, none of which are welcome.

When you are able to spot a true investment versus a trading opportunity, you will be one step closer to advancing your position within the herd of investors.
